It’s election season for the Sea Services Leadership Association. As a member of SSLA, you can have a direct and immediate impact on the personal and professional lives of women in uniform. Volunteer yourself, or another and be ready to vote!
The SSLA Staff positions that are up for election are Vice President of Chapters / Task Forces, Vice President of Public Affairs, and the U.S. Coast Guard service representative.
The SSLA Board position that is up for election is SSLA President.

Nominations should be submitted via email to the Election Committee Chair at sslapresident@gmail.com no later than Tuesday, Aug 1, 2023. Nominations should include a brief biography (less than 300 words), a short statement on which position(s) you want to run for and why, and a photo.
Voting will be in late August and the results from the election will be announced in early September. Terms begin on Oct 1, 2023 and last two years, according to our current bylaws.
If you are not interested in serving on the SSLA Staff, you can still be involved on the JWLS 2024 Committee. You must be an SSLA member to be on the JWLS Committee.
